BUNG BRATAK

HIGHLIGHT

known as Rumah Bung Bratak, is a cultural and heritage site that offers insights into the traditions and lifestyle of the Bidayuh community in Sarawak, Malaysia. The Bidayuh, also known as Land Dayaks, are one of the indigenous groups in Sarawak. Bung Bratak serves as a representation of their cultural identity and history. Before reaching there, we will need to take a 45 minutes hike along the trail. The trail is surrounded but lush greeneries. Visitors could see special flowers or insects and one of the key attractions will be the waterfall while hiking along the way to the top. Reaching the top, you will see longhouses. These are communal dwellings that reflect the close-knit nature of Bidayuh communities. Visitors can explore the architecture and interior of these longhouses.
